Common Questions

Does Release Binder store passwords?

No. Release Binder is not a password manager. Do not store passwords, API keys, private keys, App Store Connect credentials, or other secrets in the app.

Does Release Binder require a web account?

No. The current app is local-first and does not depend on a custom backend.

Does Release Binder sync across devices?

On Apple devices, yes. If you are signed in to iCloud, signed Release Binder builds sync binder data across your Mac, iPhone, and iPad using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit sync. The public Android version is local-only and does not automatically sync with the Apple versions.

Where is the full guide?

The app includes a compact Release Field Guide for working in the moment. The full user guide is available at releasebinder.com/guide.

Is Release Binder available yet?

Yes. Release Binder is available on the App Store for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and available on Google Play for Android.

Do I need to purchase each platform separately?

The Apple purchase includes the Mac, iPhone, and iPad versions. Android is a separate one-time purchase through Google Play. Neither store version has subscriptions or In-App Purchases, and each store shows the price for your country or region.

Is the Android version identical to the Apple version?

No. The Android release is a focused release-packet companion. It opens schema-versioned JSON packets, shows readiness, checklists, inventory, and release facts, allows version updates, and saves JSON or Markdown. The full project workspace, App Store Connect tools, screenshots, and automatic iCloud sync remain in the Apple versions.
